Mazda Corporation (hereinafter referred to as “Mazda”) has changed the model structure of the compact car “MAZDA2” and will start accepting pre-orders through Mazda dealerships nationwide from today. Sales are scheduled to start in early December.
The MAZDA2 is a compact car based on the concept of “a companion that allows you to find your love,” and we want you to value your own individuality and enjoy your daily life with your friends. It combines a compact yet sophisticated design with high-quality driving, and is chosen by a wide range of customers.
In this model system change, we have standardized popular equipment to achieve both ease of choice for customers and enhanced equipment.
Towards 2030, Mazda will continue to evolve the joy of running based on the values of “people-centered”, create the excitement of the travel experience in customers’ daily lives, and deliver the joy of life.
Overview of the new model
・The “15C II (Ichigo Sea Two)”
is equipped with the highly requested “Utility Package”*1 as standard equipment. A base grade that comfortably supports daily travel such as commuting, school, and shopping.
・The “15 BD i Selection II”
and “Mazda Connect Package”*2, “360° Safety Package”*3, and “Digital Terrestrial TV Tuner (Full Seg)” are standard equipment. Combining safety and comfort , the best-selling model “15 BD i Selection” has been further evolved.
・In addition to the sporty driving of the “15 SPORT II” (Ichigo Sport Two),
“driver and passenger seat heating” and “steering heater” are standard equipment. An advanced grade that combines comfort and driving.
・The “15MB”, “15SPORT+” and passenger seat swivel seat cars have no changes in both equipment and price.
