On February 2, Hino Motors announced that it has decided to freeze the launch of the Poncho Z EV compact EV bus, which was scheduled to be released in the spring of 16.
The Poncho Z EV, which the company announced in June 2021, is a compact EV bus with a capacity of 6 kWh with a crew of about 30 people and a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 105 kWh and was originally scheduled to go on sale in the spring of 2022.
Regarding the freezing of the launch of the model, the company commented, “We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to our customers and related parties.”
